How much do you know about Peoria? Are you ready to match wits with your fellow Peorians? On March 21, the Peoria Historical Society will host Trivia Night at the Contemporary Art Center—so gather your friends together and come see how much you know about the Whiskey City.
Not a history buff? No problem. Questions will be “player-friendly” and will focus not only on Peoria’s past but also on its present. Just to get you started, please take this short quiz… (Answers provided at the bottom of this post.)

It will be a fun night of prizes and great company at the Contemporary Art Center as you test your knowledge of Peoria. Teams consist of 2-8 players at $25 per person. The roots of the Peoria Historical Society can be traced as far back as 1839. Incorporated in 1934, the Society was established to enhance the quality of life in the Peoria area by: collecting, preserving and displaying items relating to our history; encouraging and supporting historical research and education; and promoting and sustaining public interest in the history and contributions of our people and organizations.
