40 Leaders Under Forty

There are many awards programs in central Illinois, but few speak to the current—and future—success of the Peoria area more than the annual 40 Leaders Under Forty ceremony each fall.

This year’s celebration, which takes place November 1 at the Hotel Père Marquette, again honors 40 young leaders in central Illinois who are contributing not only to the success of their companies, but also to their communities. These individuals are taking active roles in shaping the economic and social successes of communities throughout central Illinois and can be counted on to provide enthusiastic, experienced guidance for many years to come.

Helping to honor this new 2006 Class of 40 Leaders will be hosts InterBusiness Issues and Caterpillar Inc., along with sponsors RLI, Associated Bank, Illinois Central College, OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, Health Alliance Medical Plans, and Farnsworth Group.

The awards are presented by local and national luminaries. Past presenters include Congressman Ray LaHood, Diane and Doug Oberhelman, Henry Holling of Caterpillar Inc., and Easter Seals President Steve Thompson. LaHood will again present the awards this year.

The elegant evening includes a cocktail reception featuring an open bar and a fabulous menu of hors d’oeuvres—all set to great jazz music. Following the ceremony, the event concludes with coffee and an elaborate dessert buffet.

Help honor the area’s most talented and committed young leaders November 1 by attending 40 Leaders Under Forty. Tickets for the prestigious event cost $30. For more information, call 683-3060 or vist us online at www.peoriamagazines.com.
