Gerald S. Flaherty is a group president of Caterpillar Inc. He joined Caterpillar in 1959, and is a graduate of the Aurora Plant's two-year manufacturing training program. He talks about his role as a member of the Greater Peoria Airport Authority regarding customer-oriented changes to the airport, and the planning and effects of the proposed freeway connecting Peoria and Chicago.
