As a key leader in the Supply Chain Division at OSF HealthCare, Matthew D. McGraw has accomplished a tremendous amount during his short tenure, improving service levels and reducing costs while helping to lead the division through functional transformation. He directs supply chain sourcing and contracting, analytics and ERP functions, and is responsible for planning, organizing and evaluating all resources to drive the division’s overall success.
Promoted last year to Vice President of Supply Chain Strategy, McGraw is currently spearheading the implementation of a new ERP system to drive increased automation across the organization while allowing it to be more efficient and cost-effective. His direction and strategic input have built a strong foundation toward the new supply chain model for OSF and its partners, while he has built a team that consistently ranks in the top tier for employee satisfaction.
A certified facilitator for IC2it, OSF’s cultural transformation recognition program, McGraw works to provide training opportunities to support culture change, often leading groups of 50 or more during annual sessions. He also heads up a succession planning initiative for the supply chain team, identifying and developing qualified professionals who will excel in roles vacated by departing or retiring leaders, and serves on the OSF United Way Champion Committee, driving participation in the annual United Way campaign.
An avid outdoorsman, McGraw is a member of the Woodford County chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America, an organization dedicated to the conservation, restoration and sustainability of natural resources. In this role, he helps sponsor community events to increase involvement in conservation, including highway cleanups and youth activities. A Six Sigma Green Belt, he earned a master’s degree in health administration from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2012. He and his wife are expecting a child in February. iBi
