Friends Saving Lives in Haiti

With Haiti at its greatest need, Friends of the Children of Haiti found itself suddenly paralyzed. The Peoria-based organization could not do what it does best: provide medical care for citizens of the poorest nation in the Western Hemisphere. The most deadly and destructive in the country's 206-year history had turned the already crippled country into chaos.
