Dave Cochran

The President and CEO of South Side Bank, Dave Cochran has worked his way up the banking management ladder. Since he began his career in banking in 1970, Cochran has seen many advances in the industry. His experience working for a consumer finance company and other banks allows him to easily recognize the unique services South Side Bank offers to its customers in the Peoria area. When Cochran began his career, the use of computers was nowhere near as prevalent as it is today, and online banking hadn’t even been conceptualized. He notes that the rise of the Internet has completely changed the way people bank and predicts that there will someday be a way to make deposits and withdraw cash online. A native of Pekin, Cochran serves on the board of governors for the Pekin Country Club and the board of the Central Illinois Chapter of the American Red Cross. He enjoys spending time with his family, both on and off the golf course. As the youngest of 11 children, he truly values the time he is able to spend with his wife, daughters and grandchildren.
