Dr. David Broski, president of Bradley University, isn't afraid to take risks. "A mentor of mine once said, 'The turtle only makes progress when he sticks his head out, so don't be afraid to make mistakes. They can usually be corrected.' I think that's good advice," he said. Sticking his neck out has led to some very good things for Bradley-and the Peoria community in general-since he took over the position in 2000.
