WMBD has had a presence in Peoria for almost 70 years, contributing to the success of the community through broadcasting and community efforts since its inception in 1927. Today WMBD-TV, WMBD-AM, and WMXP (MIX 93.9), operate under the leadership of Vice President and General Manager Gene C. Robinson and WMBD/WMXP Station Manager Lindsay Wood Davis.
