Since 2016, Angie Ostaszewski has worked for Ameren Illinois in its communications, charitable giving and energy efficiency groups. Outside of work, she is a board member for the Center for Prevention of Abuse, Illinois Central College Foundation and Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce, and vice president of the Renaissance Park Community Association. She is also putting Peoria on the map through Angie’s Listings, creating short TikTok videos that highlight reasons to move to Peoria—and at least two dozen people (and counting) have been inspired to do just that. “Cheering on our community is my favorite thing to do,” Ostaszewski says. “There is so much good to highlight and amplify here, whether it's affordable homes, great jobs or amazing local restaurants. I’m just floored to receive this recognition for it!”
