For more than two decades, the Contemporary Art Center of Peoria has been a hub of art and culture—a 14,000-square-foot facility on the second and third floors of a renovated warehouse. Besides hosting regular exhibitions of innovative modern art, it hosts open mics, salsa dancing, weekly concerts, and classes in art, dance, yoga and tai chi. Co-founder Preston Jackson maintains his sculpture and painting studio on the second floor, along with numerous other artists who call the CAC home.
