Since 1982, St. Jude Runs has raised more than $45.6 million for the kids of St. Jude—a beloved cause that was voted Peoria’s best fundraising event for the second year in a row. In 2016, the relay-style endurance run attracted 3,100 runners and volunteers, raising over $5 million to treat childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. In addition to the flagship Memphis to Peoria Run, which kicks off the St. Jude Telethon every August, 36 communities across Illinois now host satellite runs.
