Eating right is a daily struggle for most women. The stress of trying to beat the clock, conflicting health information in the media, and easy access to fast food combine to make consistent healthy eating a goal that’s difficult to meet. There’s no doubt the topic is top-of-mind for many of us, but it’s an everyday endeavor for dietitians, a group of professionals who strive to make eating right realistic for everyone.
Dorothy Sinclair is a legend, and she’s got the award to prove it. Sinclair was honored March 6 with the 10th Annual YWCA Legend Award, which is presented to a past YWCA Leader Luncheon Award winner.
Senior moment? Menopausal moment? No, couldn’t be; I’m too young. So, what are these little memory blips that are coming more frequently? The momentary lack of name recall, calling someone by the wrong name, forgetting the topic of conversation once interrupted, forgetting one’s purse, forgetting where I put an important paper so I wouldn’t forget—those sorts of things.
