In addition to the Fine Arts Society of Peoria, numerous organizations in our community offer an eclectic mix of adult learning opportunities. Here are just a few…

  • OLLI. The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Bradley University offers programs year-round for those age 50 and older. Options include noncredit classes, educational travel, study groups and special events.
  • Adult Community Programs at Illinois Central College. These are noncredit workshops and programs for adults 18 and over. Topics include history, art, computers, language, gardening, crafts, cooking, film, fitness, home and special interests. There are also day trips and special events.
  • Peoria Riverfront Museum programs. Senior Mornings, free to anyone 60 and over, take place every other month on Wednesday morning and cover topics from Museum exhibits to educational movies. Art Club is a monthly meeting of people who love art. Participants enjoy a casual staff-led discussion on a different topic each month. PS
