As program director for the CEO Council, Audrey Kamm is responsible for project management of all CEO Council projects and overall operations of the Young Professionals Organization of Greater Peoria (YPGP) within the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce. She prepares materials and manages communication for all CEO Council committees and coordinates YPGP meetings, committees, socials and special events with volunteer assistance. She oversaw the planning and execution of The Big Table: Greater Peoria event, in which hundreds of area residents converged to discuss ways to strengthen the region, and is working to attain her Institute for Organizational Management (IOM) designation, the professional development program of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation.
A national medalist and Team USA synchronized skating team member from 2002 to 2005, Kamm is now a synchronized skating technical specialist and singles gold level test judge for U.S. Figure Skating. A member of the Heart of Illinois Skating Club board, she served on the local organizing committee for the 2019 Upper Great Lakes Regional Championships, an event which attracted more than $750,000 of economic impact to the area.
As a volunteer for the German-American Central Society, Kamm helped to promote Oktoberfest and worked to create a marketing plan for the festival. She also volunteered for the Over The Edge fundraiser for the Friendship House of Christian Service, organizing games, volunteers and donations for the street party committee.
A member of the Advisory Council and Grant Review Committee for the Community Foundation of Central Illinois’ Emerging Philanthropists Fund, Kamm has served as a judge for National Philanthropy Day, a graduate and committee member of the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce Community Leadership School, and member of Align Peoria’s College & Career Readiness Team and the Greater Peoria EDC’s Emerging Workforce Committee.
