Darrin A. Autry
Darrin Autry, vice president and trust officer at Commerce Trust Company, manages private client relationships through sound administration practices, assessing client needs and providing wealth management solutions to existing and new clients. He is responsible for a large, complex group of client relationships, and has been directly responsible for winning new and significant relationships through his teamwork within Commerce and with a large network of professional advisors.
Autry demonstrates the key attributes of leadership in his daily activities for his employer and for the community. He is an experienced trust professional, with more than seven years of experience, and a respected business partner. Autry is a top producer, motivating those around him to succeed professionally.
Well recognized in the business community, Autry’s expertise is also valued by numerous community organizations, and his service and involvement is extensive and diverse. Not only does he give of himself in this respect, but his commitment to bettering the community has encouraged increased participation by his teammates.
Autry currently serves on the board of directors for the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce and as chairman of the Chamber’s Business Resource Services Board. He is on the Methodist College of Nursing Board of Directors and is a grant advisor for the Heart of Illinois United Way. Autry is a current board member and past chairman of the Estate Planning Council of Central Illinois and is also involved with the River Valley Foundation; Keep Peoria Beautiful, a nonprofit affiliate of Keep America Beautiful; and the Creve Coeur Club.
Autry’s professional and community involvements demonstrate his passion for and commitment to the Peoria community. He is very visible at business after-hour events and is a regular attendee at events hosted to benefit local charities. While participating in the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce Community Leadership School in 2006, he and his teammates orchestrated an event for the American Red Cross, certifying over 200 people in CPR and AED in a single day.
