Pearl Technology recently joined forces with two area companies to offer their clients greater security and connectivity in computer information systems. The Peoria Heights firm, one of the Pearl Companies, has been providing IT solutions to businesses for more than 35 years. The new alliance combines their expertise with that of CIAN and A5.

Founded in 1990, CIAN is recognized as an industry expert in IT security, helping to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of IT networks. With two central Illinois data centers and a staff of experienced engineers, A5 offers technology consulting, hosting, managing and monitoring. Both firms are owned by Steve Hope, a retired U.S. Navy officer who has spent much of his life on defense—first for the United States, and then helping businesses defend against malicious hackers.

“We’re always looking for more ways to keep clients connected to what matters most in their businesses,” says Dave Johnson, president of Pearl Technology. “This partnership positions us to help address ever-increasing technology needs.”

“The time has come to get IT companies to work together, not in competition,” Hope declares. “The synergetic effect of this action means we will have the largest, unparalleled assembly of specialists in this area.”

As an IT infrastructure and managed services provider, Pearl Technology now combines the IT and data security services of CIAN with the private cloud, hosting and data center services of A5. “This partnership makes it easy to seamlessly expand those solutions,” adds Hope. “Together, we specialize in everything a company needs to remain connected with security, network installation, support and administration.” pearltechnology.com/alliance PM
